Founder and Chair

Min Liu (Mariana) is a distinguished professional with a versatile background in clinical medicine, psychology, business, finance, and public administration. she is currently pursuing a Master in Public Administration (MC/MPA) at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Her family enterprises span high-tech biopharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing, real estate, and finance. Mariana founded Nice Talent Asset Management Limited in 2015. The company is headquartered in Hong Kong with presence in Singapore and Dubai. In 2024, the company received accolades such as the "Top 10 Financial Asset Management Services Provider in APAC 2024" from Financial Reviews Service APAC in the U.S., and "The Most Outstanding External Asset Management Services" from Hong Kong Commercial Times. With Mariana’s involvement, the family office actively promotes cross-border cooperation and economic exchange, serving as a vital platform for global business and social innovation.

On the philanthropy front, Mariana is the Chair of the Chinese Global Benevolent Foundation and an alumna of the Global Philanthropy Leaders program at the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI), co-founded by Bill Gates and Ray Dalio. Her steadfast support for social innovation and sustainable development initiatives has touched over a million disadvantaged individuals worldwide.

Drawing on her extensive experience across industry and philanthropy, Mariana firmly believes in the transformative power of the mushroom sector to foster global sustainable development and community economic empowerment. Guided by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), she integrates research, investment, and family enterprise resources with social innovation principles. Through E&M Mushroom Inc., Mariana champions advances in technology, international collaboration, and on-the-ground projects to improve human health and ensure the planet’s long-term well-being.

Jimmy Chan

CEO & Managing Partner

Jimmy Chan is the Managing Partner of NTAM. He is responsible for overall NTAM management, business development, client relationship and portfolio management. Jimmy is veteran in FX option trading. Before joining NTAM, he was Managing Director in Aspenwood Capital, an asset management company licensed for SFC type 4 and type 9 regulated activities. His duties in Aspenwood included supervision of investment advisory to clients and client relationship management. Prior to that, he was Jade Director in HSBC, giving investment advisory to private clients and managing long-term relationship with them. Jimmy was the best High Net Worth Wealth Manager awarded from the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers in 2015. Jimmy holds Bachelor of Economics from Chinese University of Hong Kong and Bachelor of Law from University of London.

Cathy Lau

Managing Partner

Cathy Lau is the Managing Partner of NTAM. She is responsible for business development, client relationship and portfolio management. Before joining NTAM, she was Senior Director in HSBC. She has over 14 years of experience on client portfolio management, with expertise on Investment, Financial & Legacy planning. She has extensive network in banking and financial industry globally. She managed over USD 1 billion diverse portfolio, with high net worth clients from all over the world with the majority in China, Hong Kong and Asia. She also managed a team of Jade directors and was one of top performing team in the bank. Cathy holds Bachelor of Economics from Chinese University of Hong Kong

Andy Choi

Managing Partner

Andy Choi is the Managing Partner of NTAM. He is responsible for client relationship and portfolio management. Before joining NTAM, Andy was Executive Director in HSBC and managed a team of Jade directors. He has over 11 years experience in Bank Industry, with expertise on Investment, portfolio management and Legacy planning. He managed over USD 1 billion diverse portfolio for high net worth clients with different nationality. Andy holds Master of commerce in finance from Deakin University in Australia.

Emma Xing

Managing Partner, Singapore

Emma Xing is the Partner of NTAM. She has over 14 years of experience in banking and finance, specializing in portfolio management and asset succession planning. She will drive the business development, client relationships, and portfolio management, while also developing the China team. Simultaneously, a new office will be established in Singapore , she will serve as the CEO.
Before joining NTAM, Emma was the Branch Manager of HSBC Bank (China), where she managed a team of relationship managers, one of the top-performing teams in the bank. She has an extensive network in the global banking and finance industry. Emma holds a Master of Finance from Queen's University in Canada.
